Purpose-Led Social Campaign for Women's World Cup 2023

Social / Film / OOH / In store

Cadbury wanted to play in the women's game as actively as they did the men's. The insight was simple - pretty much every woman in professional football had a moment where someone's support changed everything.

So we asked four of the biggest names in women's football who changed the game for them.

Leah Williamson's nan. Lauren James's brother Josh. Katie McCabe's dad. Jill Scott's first coach. Intimate, unscripted, shot in places that mattered to them. We had loose scripts based on stories the players shared with us beforehand. The best moments were the ones nobody planned. Katie's dad kept crying. Leah's nan kept swearing. Lauren was as natural behind the camera as she is on the pitch.

Each story was released across three 15 second posts in sequence - each one landing as a stand alone piece, all three landing the full picture. A format built to keep the campaign fresh.

Then we gave fans the chance to meet someone who might just change the game for them too.

A little support can change the game.
